"Since I joined Lewis Direct Mail in 1977, the company has evolved from a five person firm working from a basement in Victoria, to a multi-faceted organisation. We have 50 plus people, providing
direct mail, database
marketing, overseas
consolidation, account management,
email marketing and
database marketing services, from our warehouses and offices in Caledonian Road.
There is no doubt we have changed enormously over the years. But there is one aspect which remains the same: our commitment to providing an exceptionally high level of service which adds value to the customer's business and brings tangible results.
People probably underestimate the quality of service we provide until they experience it for themselves. Yes - we provide a
direct mail service, but what people don't see is the meticulous preparation prior to
despatch: database checking and cleansing, personalising of a list into your chosen style, envelope printing,
coding, name and address checks. They add value because they result in overall reduction of wastage and errors. They improve the appearance of your mailing and will result in a better response.
We'd like to think this attention to detail is the reason we've retained the vast majority of our clients over the years: the knock on benefit is we can often act on very minimal instructions from a client, because we understand what they need.
